We are currently in beta - which means we’re still testing and developing some parts of the site. You can start to build your profile and look for potential job-sharing partners. As new people join us from your industry, you’ll be presented with more matches. We’ll be introducing more features too, as we build a community of people who can help shape the future of flexible work and job-sharing.

How we came to be – our founder’s story
“When you find brilliant people, as a leader you do everything you can to motivate and keep them.”
In 2016, two people in my team were both struggling to balance full-time jobs with competing priorities outside of work. They were on the brink of abandoning careers they had built doing jobs they loved, and we faced losing two valuable team members. We needed to think creatively, so we explored job-sharing as an option for them.
Two ambitious individuals, armed with similar skills, looking for a way to keep their careers on track - the perfect match! So we made it happen. They were soon recognised by the Timewise Power 50, an annual celebration of people and organisations who are brilliant at flexible working.
I was so excited by the potential of job-sharing that I looked into recruiting more candidates into the team. However, despite briefing recruiters and advertising roles online, I struggled to fill the opportunities because it was impossible to figure out which people would match well during the interview process. I learnt very quickly that the majority of recruiters aren’t trained or motivated to match candidates together, and leaders don’t have the time. Crucially, no platform existed back then to help candidates find their perfect job-share match either.
I’ve seen first-hand how transformative flexible working including job-sharing can be, for teams and individuals: positive impact on wellbeing, productivity and confidence. I became passionate about helping other people have this opportunity. And so Flink was born.
